Shirley Murdock: Give Our Legends Their Flowers.

An appreciation post for the songstress.

Shirley Murdock was discovered by one of the GOATs (the late & great Roger Troutman,) as a backing singer for his band Zapp. Shirley started her solo career not too long after, & the rest is history.

Shirley Murdock deserves an abundance of flowers due to the fact that she is a SINGER. We only listen to singers over here my loves.

Her music has been covered and sampled by artists like Kelly Price, Kandi Burruss and many others.
