⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Diana Ross reigned supreme in the 70s (no pun intended). After embarking on a solo career after being the lead singer of The Supremes, Diana Ross becamef one of Motown’s brightest stars in entertainment. From music to movies, Diana Ross was WORKING.

After the success of her eponymous 1976 album, she released “Baby It’s Me” in the late summer of 1977. Baby It’s Me is an ALBUM BABY. An album with elements of pop and soul, was a moderate success on the charts, but is a fan favorite of Diana’s catalog and the album art is one of Diana’s most iconic photos of all time in my personal opinion. From the catchy tunes to the beautiful ballads, Diana sounds confident and joyous on this record. & that is why this is one of my favorite Diana Ross albums.

A cover of Stevie Wonder’s masterpiece, Too Shy To Say is one of my favorite songs ever!

Your Love Is So Good for Me

Whewwwww this top 20 song is a bop! This disco Grammy nominated record is Diana at her most comfortable. 🙌🏾

Top Of The World

A BALLAD!

The Same Love That Made Me Laugh

Written by Bill Withers.

A cover of a Bill Withers classic, Diana owns it like she always does.

Come In From The Rain

Written by Carole Bayer Sager & Melissa Manchester.

A touching ballad, Come InFrom The Rain closes the album and itis truly amazing.

Diana Ross is one of the best living legends to ever do it. Her records from the 70s have gotten me through my toughest times, and everything.

Baby It’s Me is truly a gem in her discography. While it did not have the largest success as most of her earlier records, it is all about the quality for me! Diana gets it. -MJ
